Personal Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation (as amended from time to time), including the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the SI Personal Data Protection Act. The controller of personal data is the Vozilozame.si portal.

I. Purpose of Processing

The main purpose of the www.vozilozame.si portal is to facilitate the vehicle purchase/sale process and to connect vehicle buyers and sellers as quickly as possible. In this way, both parties save valuable time in achieving the final goal – the purchase and sale of a vehicle.

In order to provide this service, we require your basic contact data that you enter in the online form “Buyer inquiry”. Without this data, the described service cannot be provided.

By submitting the completed “Buyer Inquiry” form, you provide explicit consent for the processing of the data you provide by the Provider and by vehicle sellers registered in the Vozilozame.si Provider database for the purpose of:

• Forwarding your inquiry to an appropriate vehicle seller;
• Enabling vehicle sellers to contact you directly via the contact channels you provided (e.g., email address, telephone number).

II. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of customers’ personal data is necessary for the provision of services as described above. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

III. Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, erasure, rectification, data portability, restriction of processing, and objection under the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation.

You may exercise your rights in writing to the controller’s address or via email at vozilozame@gmail.com. In certain cases, we may contact you to verify your identity.

Right to lodge a complaint: If you believe that we are not exercising your rights properly, we kindly ask you to contact us first. If this is not sufficient, you may file a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.

IV. Retention Period and Data Sharing

Your data will be shared with vehicle sellers for 30 days from receipt. After 30 days, your data will no longer be shared with vehicle sellers.

Recorded inquiries are stored for business record-keeping purposes and as evidence for 1 year from receipt and are then permanently deleted.
